Elf All Over Cover Stick

Ah, this one has a deceiving picture on the site. If I hadn't read the customer reviews, I would have been shocked at the amount I got. But then again, it's only $1. It comes in a little twist tube with a clear cover. The product is only where the clear plastic part is, not the entire tube like in the pic. I got one in Rosy Beige, which is slightly lighter than the picture and ordered another one in Light Beige (I have received this but it's still unopened as I'm afraid it'll be too pink for me). Light Beige is pinker than Rosy Beige.

Blended in
I usually put a finger on the top and press down to melt it on my finger then pat gently under my eyes until its blended out. For blemishes and scars, I'll use a concealer brush instead. Applying straight from the tube is not advisable as it doesn't have a pointy tip and if you attempt to apply from the side of the tube, you will get a big crescent shape.

Tried it as a foundation the other day and it was disastrous!! By the end of the day, my face looked like a 'wok' used to fry noodles. It was so oily and disgusting. Ever since then, I only use it for my undereye circles, which makes sense as I don't want to dry them out too much.

On the site, it says it can also be used as an eyeshadow primer. I have not tried that but having oily skin, I don't think an oily eyeshadow primer will be any good. As a concealer, it isn't great but does the job to lighten things, not make them disappear. Tends to fade over the day but the small packaging makes it easy to carry around to reapply.

  2. I'm sorry.. Other than the Pressed Powder in Light Beige, I have not found a matching shade for the other products.

Perhaps you could look around for a blogger with NC25 skin and uses Elf too? =)
