I actually bought this a while back, attracted to the lil sticker that said 'removes 64% of blackheads in 7 days'. Wow! That's more than half of the suckers gone in a week. But does it work? Read on to find out.
I would describe it as a gentle scrub. It makes my skin feel so smooth after using it but not raw. My pores are visibly smaller but it's temporary. It has a creamy consistency with small white bits in it which disappear after scrubbing. I know big scrubs aren't exactly good for your skin but I like my facial scrubs to have lots of beads in them so I can actually feel the exfoliation going on. This scrub doesn't contain alot of exfoliating beads so sometimes I feel like I'm massaging lotion into my face. Because of that, I tend to use more than needed and this bottle didn't last as long as it should have. Also, the last bits are hard to get out due to its creamy formula.
It contains 3 skin loving nutrients, 2 vital vitamins and no perfume or colour. I think it would be good for sensitive skin since the beads are small and not harsh on the skin.
As usual, the claim was too good to be true. The blackheads are still nestled comfortably on my nose, making themselves at home although I've finished the entire bottle. But I do like Simple bottles because they are translucent. This allows you to see how much you have left so you can buy an extra before it runs out. P.S. After you finish your bottle, don't throw it away! The bottle is recyclable =)
