Mentholatum Wannabe?

Saw this advertisement by Yokoso! Shiyuki(?) near the back of female magazine, Jan 2011 issue. One glance at the bottle and I thought it kinda looked like the famous Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion.

And the tub looks like the Moisturizing Cream! The whitening range is blue while the hydrating range is white. Coincidence?

The green and white lip balm packaging reminds me of THIS.

And look at the logo on the top left corner for Menturm.

I don't understand. Why can't companies just create their own image instead of copying others? =/
