Mentholatum Lip Pure Lip Balm

If you read my post yesterday, you would have seen my pretty lip balm. Now I wouldn't just do that to just any lip balm. It has to be worth my time and flowers =/

When I saw this on the display, I had to get it. How could I say no to that? It's green and has cute bees on it. The whole thing just looks so natural..

The tube is plain but I like it. No tacky images or pompous claims. Just plain and simple. Do your job and I won't complain =)

Application is awesome! This doesn't just coat a layer of wax on your lips. It melts upon contact and your lips are enveloped with TLC. I don't mind reapplying this at all since it doesn't feel like I'm just building the layers. I can even apply this over lipstick without smudging it.

It's also different because it's shaped and works like a lipstick. You twist it and the bullet comes up. Other lip balms have the plastic stick in the middle and you have to twist the bottom to slowly elevate the 'platform' which pushes the balm up. I think with this design, the chances of it breaking is less. I've had enough with stubborn lip balms that refuse to go back down.

It instantly moisturizes my lips and makes them appear 10x better. Don't you think so? =)

I was turned off by the smell at first cos I was so used to my Mentholatum Mogitate Kajitsu Strawberry Lip Balm which smells like strawberries but I'm okay with it now. The wax smell doesn't linger on my lips anyway.

Pros : Moisturizing, lipstick design, doesn't feel heavy/waxy on lips

Cons : Smells of wax

My conclusion : I'm in love with this lip balm.. <3! Definitely worth repurchasing. It feels so good on my lips.
