Apart from finishing the tricks up my sleeve for April Fool, I've also finished some beauty products in April.
1. Skin Food Oat Cinnamon Rich Foam
Was a bit cautious about this cos the Aloe Vera one was soooo drying. It smells so sweet (kinda sickening). Perhaps it's the cinnamon? It's actually like a scrub as it contains oat seeds but it's quite gentle. Even though it says foam, this doesn't lather up much but still easy to wash my face with. It's not drying at all and it seems to make me glow every time I use it!
2. Shenos Exfoliation Gel
Application: Massaging in gentle, circular motions on clean skin ( do not apply to skin ). Rinse with water and gently pat skin dry.
Effect: The main active ingredient of this product, Shenos Exfoliation Gel, is papain. The linked papain is more active in the upper layers of the stratum corneum. Once applied, the activity of the enzyme steadily increases for two hours, and then rapidly decreases. After three hours have elapsed, the activity of linked papain is reduced to zero. The linked papain has been shown to be highly effective at promoting turnover of the stratum corneum. The linked papain can help to improve the texture and tone of the skin, erase aging spots, rejuvenate and smooth the skin.
I'm not sure if this product really worked for me but I do feel cleaner and it doesn't dry my skin out.
You can get this product from Feunnie Tan on FB.
3. Maybelline Magnum Mascara
Still one of my favourite mascaras for holding the curl all day and night ^_^ Repurchased this in Brown.
4. Venus & Mars Glycerin and Oats Soap
This small piece actually lasted me quite a while. And it doesn't 'melt' and settle at the bottom of the container after every use so less wastage there~
5. Watson's Olive Body Scrub
Still don't think I'll be repurchasing this or any other scrub for now..
6. B&B Organics Glutathione + Rosehip Soap
Mmm.. After finishing it, don't think I'll be repurchasing the full sized bar. Still wanna try out the others xD So many choices! Which to use first??? >_<
I don't think I've seen the Magnum mascara here, but it looks similar to The Colossal, which I didn't really like )=
ReplyDeleteHm... I'd never seen Skin Food's foam products before, but that one sounds awesome~~.
ReplyDeleteAnd yess-- the mascara is being re-purchased. : D Oddly enough-- I've never tried a mascara in brown-- I suppose it doesn't make too much of a difference, eh?
@ Gaby
ReplyDeleteYes! it's the Asian version cos we have thinner, shorter and straighter lashes. Bleh..
@ Noxin
Hmm.. Actually I do notice a slight difference. Imagine it as black and brown contact lenses xD The brown one looks SLIGHTLY softer.
