Elf Brightening Eye Colour (Drama)

First of all, I would like to say that there is nothing brightening about this palette since it's dark lol I've never managed to master full black/silver smokey eyes (I only do purple or brown) so this palette has been left unloved.

It looks great in the palette.. White, shimmery dark grey, black and silver. Mirror and applicator useless except for small places like lower lashline and tear duct.

However, it's not that great swatched =_=" Pigmentation is not as good as I want it to be. With primer, it's smoother and doesn't look so chalky. Swatches were done with my fingers. If I use a brush, it barely shows... =/ This creates a problem when I want to blend it.

This is what happens when I lightly brush a piece of tissue over the swatches. All the shimmer dusts off like it was never there and the eyeshadow fades like mad *sigh..*

It amazes me how the quality can differ between palettes.. I simply loved the Day 2 Night palette but this isn't as good.

Got a haircut, finally ^_^ My overgrown fringe has been annoying the hell outta me so I asked for a shorter one this time lol I'm not sure if I like the new side parting though.. I think the other side looks better on me.

Am not a fan of pale nude lips anymore so changed to a redder lipgloss but I looked like a tranny IRL =_="

Played around with blusher, highlighter and bronzer, trying to contour my face but I didn't quite like the results. Loving Photoshop filters atm though lol

Eyeshadow applied with fingers except the small areas like tear duct & lower lash line. Didn't wanna risk brushing all the shimmer on my cheek (there was still plenty though).

Check out the shimmeerr =) White was applied as a base below silver or else it wouldn't show.

Pros : Cheap

Cons : Small mirror, bad applicator, low pigmentation, chalky, shimmer drops off easily

My conclusion : Meh.. Looks great freshly applied but within minutes, the shimmers are falling like snow in winter. Did not wear this out so don't know about the lasting power but I wouldn't expect much.. I used all 4 colours but the white isn't exactly a highlighter shade (too white).
