Thanks to lovely Cynthia & Nicole, I got my hands on Essential products! My hair has been dreaming about that awesome stuff!
I got the shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and serum but I tried the hair mask first as I still have unfinished old products.
Product says :
I was quite surprised at how solid this hair mask is. It reminds me of slightly melted butter. Compared to my previous hair masks, I use a smaller amount of this as it's so buttery smooth and concentrated (I usually use less than the amount shown). Smells really good too ^_^
It's very easy to spread and didn't feel very oily/greasy like my previous hair masks.
I guess it's recommended to wrap your hair in a shower cap but I just sorta bun/simple gather then clip. I leave it on for 5-10 minutes while I do other stuff in the shower (totally reminded myself about 'poop in shower guy' ewww..).
OMG!~~ I felt the difference immediately after the first usage. Hair was so much softer~~~ And it was super shiny. It will take a while to repair my hair but I'm convinced it will help! It's already less fluffy now. I think I used too much though (too used to my previous hair masks) so it sorta weighed down my hair.
Pics to prove it! This is how my hair used to look like. Hair was dry, stiff and harsh feeling. It was bordering on 'horse mane'. *I used loads of hair serum in the photos below*

After a few weeks of using my old shampoo & conditioner + new Essential hair mask, my hair now looks like this! Soooooo much softer now! Hair is more manageable, less dry and shiny.
This is my hair without any serum. It still looks better than my old hair with serum =_="
Even on a fluffy hair day, my hair's still somehow manageable.
Essential! Y U NO come to Malaysia?!?! Like seriously.. I don't want to have to keep bugging Singaporean friends to help me.

ReplyDelete^_^ Oh how I wish I had gotten it earlier! It's about the same price as other similar hair masks here so it's a much better choice
ReplyDeleteYou should! Many good reviews on it, especially the masks. Oh my hair is naturally puffy and unmanageable. After a double perm within the same week and multiple rebonding& colouring,it's half dead.
ReplyDeleteYES! Compared with other drugstore hair masks here, this is muuuch better.
ReplyDeleteAh, Kao Essential, my HG. Love, LOVE these! I used to get mine online or ask my bf to help me get some when ever he went back to Singapore. I, too, wished they sold it here in Malaysia
ReplyDeleteI only found 2 local sellers who happened to be traveling to SG but they were charging twice the price which is rather obscene
ReplyDeleteAnd where's my Chatime?? =P The amount I saw on your pic is sooo much...I think I only used half of yours. I LOVE this products to max!! I dunno why I find the yellow one works better in repairing. I love both series.
ReplyDeleteAnd when you coming back again? Hahaha.. or I poslaju over. Yeah I took too much in that pic.
ReplyDeletei'd love to try this as well, hope my hair doesnt get too dry after this..
ReplyDeleteLatest: Customizable Irish Sandwich
