The people at Silkygirl were kind enough to include a few goodies together with the Big Eye Mascara. When I saw this, I thought it was some kind of decoration because it's so cute. A tiny handbag! It's the Limited Edition Eye Love Handbag in Floral Tote.

Inside you will find a mirror, 3 eyeshadows and an applicator.
The pink, purple and white are meant to compliment each other so you may use them individually or together.
All 3 shades are pretty shimmery with purple being the least and white being the most. The upper half was applied above primer but it only helps a little. All 3 went on buttery smooth without any grittiness.
However, with shimmery eyeshadow I would recommend using primer underneath to ensure it lasts longer and to reduce creasing & fallout.
With eyeshadow and eyeliner on. Notice how the shimmer brings out my eyes? The colour is quite sheer. I applied pink on middle of lid, white on inner corner and purple to darken the outer lid. I wouldn't use the white to highlight below the brows though as it's too shimmery.

Oh the packaging is so cute!! I love asian make up, because they do take much effort on the packaging..

Well, I guess the brand caters to the younger crowd who may prefer a more natural flush of colour on their lids
ReplyDeletethe packaging is super duper cute! This is the first time I've seen a palette placed in such a cute tiny purse! too bad, we don't have silky girl in PH. It would be great for gifts especially this coming xmas ^_~
