Shopping at Zalora

I'm sure you've seen quite a number of Zalora ads over the past few months.. I decided to make my first purchase after a friend and Zalora staff introduced me to the RM 15 sale. It sure looked promising! High heels, dresses, lovely tops and even men's leather shoes for such a LOW price! I couldn't resist. It's just RM 15, right..?

The parcel arrived incredibly fast in a huge orange box. Looking good!

Love by Z Printed Tank Dress. Actually this is OK lar.. Just a tad too thin. No photo on me cos it's not mine.

Love by Z Crochet Lace Peplum Dress - Skirt material is a bit thin but alright.. Workable.. *Does not come with clincher

Here's how terrible it looks without the clincher! So frumpy looking! Not to mention the bust region is really loose but I'll fix that with some sewing.

Details.. The lace is pretty, I must say.. Comes with a zip on the back.

ZIP Bareback Fishtail Chiffon Dress with Zipper - This sure isn't how it looked on the website..! Material is crazy thin to a point of being unwearable. It's the really cheap type of yellow cloth you find in Sungei Wang. Zip's hard to use. Bottom 'skirt' has rubber band so it tends to go up on my waist, giving me a 'tummy' as the top slouches out.

How do you expect me to wear this?! Can see everything underneath =( If you know your material is so sucky, you shouldn't put such a price tag on it. I wouldn't even buy it for RM 5 if I knew.

Love by Z Studded Checkered Top - probably the best piece here and it's not even mine. Comes with inner lining and it's of good quality with thick cloth.


Sorry photos aren't great.. Didn't even have mood to make them look pretty after seeing the REAL condition. You might argue the price is only RM 15 but please remember they are selling for up to RM 60+ originally. I've heard good things about their heels but not sure if I want to take the risk.

    Thanks for sharing. Last time I also thought of buying from the site but I saw a lot of bad reviews on their service, so I dun dare to buy

    Wow, you sure bought a lot (ok, i know you mentioned some of them are not yours lol). The studded top looks nice though. :D Last time I bought a mint green skirt from them, the quality isn't too bad but it wasn't that good either. >_<

    I just bought a pair of shoes, and they didn't come in the orange Zalora box (maybe coz too big).

    I bought a Jovian from them and lately a Rizaman dress, all came in perfect conditions and on perfect timing. I am now buying some sports equipment for my Yoga classes :) maybe the 15RM things where on sale because of the different quality?

    Only certain colours were on sale. The same dress but in a more popular colour (like teal) were selling for RM 50+

    Oh I bought during the sale too! Total I got 2 heels, 2 top and 2 skirt. The clothes are so-so but the shoes are lovely! <3 They're a bit loose for me since I couldn't try but that can be fixed with a little padding

    Wow it really shocked me to the max! But actually I like ZIP Bareback Fishtail Chiffon Dress with Zipper very much, love the dress design haha~ From the photo itself it is not very obvious that it's very thin~

    hmm finally I meet someone who shares same some bad experience shopping with zalora.
    First time, I bought RM105, 1 white Malay Ethnic dress got scratch, quite obvious. And a pair of shoe wth yellowish gum remnant in front side. I bought thru a fren working in zalora, and she said no exchange for that. Second time, I bought a dress which is so hard to zip and the bottom skirt under dress is so thin till the joining side is open up aft my first wear. >< She said hard to zip is not consider defect, so also no exchange ><"

    Yeah, the design is unique but doesn't fall very well IRL. Especially that bump on the tummy region. Everything underneath is visible too =( Can see bra clearly

    i like the peplum dress, but without the clincher it really doesn't look as good as if you pair it with the clincher :/ i got a top from zalora once, and im still using it til today, but then again, it was a branded one, so quality might differ as well.

    I bought two pair of shoes from the same promotion, one is loose and another is kinda tight although they are in the same size. Both are rm15 so yea, cant say anything but quality wise is okay.
